Mother’s Day is celebrated in the UAE on 21 March, and the many British and international families in Dubai also keep Mothering Sunday on 7 March, or the May date. A Sunday lunch for the whole family is the classic Mother’s Day in Dubai: grandparents, children and cousins around one long table. The music stays at conversation level through lunch and lifts when the cake arrives. Food and flowers stay with your caterer and florist; we bring the artists, the sound and one person in charge on the day. Our villa party packages start at AED 9,000 with sound and a stage manager; for a lunch with one or two artists, ask us for a quote.

- The dedicated song. A singer or a violinist plays her favourite song when the family is ready, planned with you beforehand and kept secret until the first notes.
- When the afternoon turns into a party. A party band or a DJ after the cake turns the lunch into a family celebration, with dancing for the children and the grandparents.
- Where. Your villa garden or terrace on Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills, Al Barari, Arabian Ranches or Tilal Al Ghaf, and in Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat, Al Raha and Yas.

Dates and booking
- Book by 28 February for a specific artist or a dedicated song with rehearsed music; last-minute bookings are sometimes possible with the artists still free.
- Peak dates: Sunday 7 March (Mothering Sunday) and Sunday 21 March 2027, plus the weekend before each.
- Ramadan 2027: Ramadan is expected to run until about 9 March, so lunches on 7 March are planned with oud, strings or acoustic formats at conversation level; see our Ramadan and Eid guide.
- Deposit: 50% confirms the artist and the plan; balance before the event.
- Backup: every artist has a confirmed substitute who knows the set.
