We produce the entertainment for the whole day on a smaller scale: a string quartet or guitar duo for the ceremony in the garden, a jazz or acoustic set for dinner and a singer with DJ for the celebration, with sound sized for the garden and the community rules handled in advance. For engagement parties and villa weddings we register vehicles at the community gate, plan the load-in for the afternoon, size the sound for the space, bring a silent generator when needed and agree the outdoor cut-off with you. Catering, décor and flowers stay with the suppliers you choose, and we coordinate timings with them. Every performer has a confirmed backup.

How much does live music for an engagement party cost?
For an engagement party at a private villa, our villa party packages apply: from AED 9,000 for a two-hour acoustic duo with professional sound, AED 17,000 for a trio with singer and stage manager and AED 33,000 for a full band. For hotels and other venues, and for intimate weddings, you receive a fixed, itemised quote within two hours.
Can a violinist play for a surprise proposal?
Yes. We agree a precise cue with you, plan where the violinist waits unseen and time your song so it starts the moment you kneel. A guitar duo or a singer works just as well if you prefer.
Where can the proposal take place?
Anywhere you can reach discreetly: a villa garden, a restaurant or hotel terrace, a yacht or the beach. We check the location in advance, including access, power and any permissions the venue requires.
Can you play Arabic music for an engagement celebration?
Yes. An oud duo or our Arab Trio with violin, oud and qanun is one of the formats families book most for engagement celebrations, and it combines easily with a singer or DJ later in the evening.

No. LuminArt produces the entertainment only: the artists, the sound, the performance lighting and the run-of-show. Catering, décor, florals and the venue are handled by your planner or the suppliers you choose, and we coordinate timings, power and stage space with them in advance.
How far in advance should we book?
For an engagement party two to four weeks is usually comfortable; for a proposal on a fixed date, as soon as you have the location. Last-minute bookings are always possible, subject to availability: the most sought-after artists are booked first, which is the risk of leaving it late, but there is always the option of finding the best available performer for your date.
