The ceremony is the shortest part of the wedding day and the one guests remember most clearly: the first notes as the doors open, the song that carries the bride down the aisle, the music under the vows and the celebration as the couple walks out. LuminArt produces ceremony and cocktail hour music for weddings in hotel ballrooms, beach venues, gardens, desert settings and private villas across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We provide the artists and the sound and we build the cues with your planner; catering, décor and flowers stay with your planner and the suppliers you choose. The moments of the ceremony and what we play for each
- Guest arrival. Fifteen to thirty minutes of light, elegant music while guests find their seats: strings, guitar or a violin and sax duo at a level that lets people greet each other.
- The processional. The entrance of the wedding party and the bride, timed to the length of the aisle so the music lands on the right moment, often a song chosen by the couple and arranged for the ensemble.
- Vows, readings and signing. Silence where it matters and a soft underscore where it helps, agreed with your officiant or planner in advance.
- The recessional. An upbeat, joyful piece as you walk out together, the first moment of the celebration.

Your song, arranged for the aisle
Most couples have one song that means something to them. We arrange it for the ensemble you choose, a pop ballad for string quartet, a Latin favourite for guitar duo or an Arabic classic for oud and violin, and we time it to the length of your aisle so the key moment of the song arrives as you reach the front. Personal song requests and custom arrangements are agreed in the proposal, with a sample before the day when time allows.
Outdoor, beach and garden ceremonies
Dubai ceremonies often happen outdoors at sunset, which changes what we plan. Strings and guitars are sensitive to heat and humidity, so we schedule the set-up in the shade, give the musicians time to tune once the temperature drops and use discreet amplification so the music carries without being loud. On the beach we plan for wind and sand, and in gardens we agree the position of the musicians with your planner and décor team so the ensemble frames the ceremony instead of competing with it. A microphone for the officiant and the vows is part of the sound set-up when needed.

Yes. Our string quartet plays classical repertoire and pop hits arranged for strings, so your processional can be a modern song that means something to you, played with the elegance of a quartet.
Can you play an outdoor ceremony in the heat or on the beach?
Yes. We set up in the shade, let the instruments settle before tuning, use discreet amplification and plan for wind and sand on the beach, so the music sounds right at sunset without disturbing the ceremony.
Do you provide a microphone for the vows and speeches?
Yes. When needed, a microphone for the officiant, the vows and short speeches is part of our sound set-up, run by our operator.
Do you also handle catering, décor or flowers?
No. LuminArt produces the entertainment only: the artists, the sound, the performance lighting and the run-of-show. Catering, décor, florals and the venue are handled by your planner or the suppliers you choose, and we coordinate timings, power and stage space with them in advance.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings we recommend three to six months, and more for dates between November and March, when the most requested ensembles and bands are booked first. Last-minute bookings are still possible, subject to availability: the most sought-after artists go first, which is the risk of leaving it late, but there is always the option of finding the best available performers for your date.
