Hotel entertainment in Dubai: live acts for brunches, lobbies, ballrooms and seasonal programmes

LuminArt is a Dubai entertainment agency that supplies live artists to hotels, resorts and restaurants: party bands, jazz trios with a singer, saxophonists and violinists, Spanish, Latin and Arabic acts, DJs with live sax, dancers and magicians. We work for the entertainment, F&B and events teams who need reliable artists every week, not once: a brunch rotation, a lobby programme, a ballroom night, and the big dates of the season. And when a corporate client rents one of your rooms and asks you for entertainment, you have one answer: send us the brief and your client gets an itemised proposal within two hours. One point of contact, a stage manager on every booking and a confirmed substitute for every act.

What hotels book from us

  • Friday and weekend brunch. A singer with guitar, a saxophonist over a DJ, a jazz duo or a Latin trio at a level that lifts the room without stopping conversation.
  • Lobby, lounge and terrace. A solo pianist or guitarist, a violinist, or a sax and guitar duo through the evening, with a repertoire that fits the guests of the hotel.
  • Ballroom nights. Weddings, galas and company dinners: a party band, a DJ with live sax, an Arabic band with oud and percussion, or a dance or LED robot show as the opening. See our weddings and corporate events guides.
  • Pool, beach club and garden. Sax over DJ, percussion, a Latin or Cuban band and roaming musicians for the sunset hours.
  • Seasonal programmes. New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Ramadan and Eid, and National Day, planned as a package of acts across the days of the programme.

How we work with a hotel

A hotel needs the act to arrive, set up and play without the team having to chase anything. Every booking has a stage manager who coordinates with your events or F&B team, a confirmed substitute who knows the set, and an itemised proposal within two hours of the brief. Our B2B rate card is available on request, and recurring programmes are quoted as a rotation.

  • Sound. Where the room includes its own system, as ballrooms usually do when you book the room, we play on it. For rooms, terraces and private spaces without one, we bring our own system or a sound partner; a large system with a technician is quoted separately.
  • Rotation. A different line-up each week keeps a brunch or a lobby fresh for repeat guests, with the same standard and the same point of contact.
  • Timings. Load-in, soundcheck and set times are agreed with your team before the date, and the artist is briefed on the dress code and the volume limits of the venue.
  • Languages. Bilingual presenters in English and Russian, and artists who sing in Arabic, Spanish, Italian and English, for international guests.

When your corporate clients ask you for entertainment

A large share of hotel business is corporate: companies renting a ballroom, a meeting room, a terrace or a restaurant for a conference dinner, a product launch, a staff party or a year-end event, and almost every one of them asks the hotel, "can you recommend some entertainment?" We make that question easy for your events team.

  • One answer for the client. Send us the date, the room, the number of guests and the style of the evening, or forward the client’s brief; we reply to your team or to the client within two hours with an itemised proposal and videos of the acts.
  • Your way of working. We can quote through your team under our B2B rate, or deal directly with the client, whichever your hotel prefers; the booking relationship and the room stay with you.
  • Built around your venue. Load-in, soundcheck and running order are agreed with your banqueting, AV and security teams, the hotel’s own sound is used where the room includes it, and the artists follow your volume and dress rules.
  • Corporate formats. Reception jazz and a show opening for a gala dinner, a DJ with live sax or a party band for the staff party, a reveal show for a launch. See gala dinners, staff parties, product launches and year-end parties.

Acts by culture and by room

  • Arabic. Oud and singer, or an oud, qanun and percussion trio, for iftar, suhoor, National Day and evenings with Gulf guests. See Arabic music.
  • Spanish and Gipsy Kings-style. Spanish guitar, rumba and flamenco, among the most requested for hotel terraces and private dinners. See Spanish music.
  • Latin and Cuban. A Buena Vista Social Club-style band, boleros, salsa and son. See Latin music.
  • Italian. Guitar and voice with the Italian songbook, and Italian pop. See Italian music.
  • Jazz and soul. Piano and sax, trios with a singer, and jazz versions of pop for lobbies and lounges. See jazz.
  • Party band and DJ with live sax. The dance floor of a ballroom night or a New Year’s Eve gala. See pop music and dance shows.

Booking and terms

  • Lead time. Three to four weeks for a specific act; December and the peak dates, earlier. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible with the artists still free.

  • Backup: every artist has a confirmed substitute who knows the set.
  • Pricing: every proposal is itemised and quoted individually; the B2B rate card is sent on request.
